Things are not what you think, nor are they what you see and hear. "Balaam's Ass" despite it's embarrassing sound, is not actually a reference to obscenity nor a particular part of anyone's anatomy, it's a reference to a Biblical creature of what some might call myth or legend, if they had never met a Prophet.  If you actually ever do have either the fortunate or unfortunate experience of ever meeting a real (in the sense they are actually a prophetic) Prophet,  you will quickly realize they make talking Donkeys seem quite normal by comparison.  

And it is not surprising such a story would come from such a strange people. They routinely report "talking" to all of God's creatures, not just Donkeys in particular. Saint Francis of Ass-isi [pun intended] considered himself as one among those of earlier days such as Balaam who communicated with the lowly beast of burden.   Francis of Assisi and Balaam share much more in common than most may realize.

Modern Americans often laugh at the official logo of the Democratic party which is referred to affectionaly by Republicans as a "Jack Ass".  When inquiries are made as to it's comical origin, the public is most often simply told it represented "Labor" and the "Working class" because they used Donkey's.  But that is not the whole story (once again). That answer is provided because the real answer is an embarrassment to Modern Democrats.  It points back to that huge Arch in Paris that gets shrunk down to a photo.  The truth is, whenever you see that Democratic Donkey logo, you are looking at "Balaam's Ass".  

It is a symbol for a spontaneous growing movement in America, that remembers it's past and what is important about it's future. It hearkens back (or forward) to a day when there were (or will be) more important things in life to do than just be content with fat, rich and famous, something an animal can do if owned by the right person.  Balaams Ass sees the angel standing in the way of today's so-called "New World Order" (which is nothing but political opposite speak for the restoration of the old "Holy Roman Empire", a/k/a "Riech").  By speaking up and telling the truth, perhaps even Balaam will someday see it too.    Naturally, this kind of thinking belongs in a Museum, so here is it's home. A digital museum to house this antique curiosity (or future lifestyle) to amuse, entertain and educate the public.  

One of the things you will often experience when visiting a Museum, is that there are many misconceptions we share about history sometimes, until you see it for yourself.  You get a sense of perspective when you see the actual plane that was flown, or the first space capsule, or the actual size of the great "sea of Galilee". (which is about as big as a vacation ski-boat lake).  Sometimes the reverse is true as well, something has been diminished or made small or non-existent, when in reality, it is huge. Such as the Triumphal Arch in Paris, France.  If you are an American whose never seen it in person, you will not have the slightest idea how humongous that Napoleonic Arch really is.  Pictures simply will not do it justice. There is something even bigger than that Arch in Paris that has in our modern American minds, turned into something small. In fact, if you listen to most in a public position to speak, you would be led to believe, so small, to be non-existent.  But exactly the reverse is true. It is bigger than any picture can accurately portray.  If you know what it is, you do not need to be told, if you don't know what it is, you would never believe it anyway.  Kind of like "Balaam's Ass". 

It was selected for the very same reason as being described here though in a political context, and actually has the same issue being addressed in the music of "Balaam's Ass" responsible for it's creation, when it was chosen.  And that is the reason they do not tell the public why they have a "Jack Ass" for a logo.  It's actually "Balaam's Ass" and has to do with the same subject you find in his music, here in this digital museum,  today. 

"Balaam's Ass" is a perfect metaphor on so many different levels, for this production work, the connection just simply could not be ignored.  It gave itself that name.  Musically, Balaam's Ass is a pseudonym for the digital composition and recording work in these albums.   But the idea of Balaam's Ass, unrighteously beat down by Balaam, the false prophet, whose main concern was prophesying for money and telling Kings what they wanted to hear, rather than speaking the truth, is also a symbol for something much bigger as well.
